Mental Abillities[/font]
Likes: Reading old myths and philosophy and journals. Enjoys discussing philosophy. Seeing new sights, the quiet and a good cup of tea.
Dislikes: Knitting. Flamboyant and/or self-confident people, physical activities, being interrupted while reading or training, talking to other people. Initiating a conversation.
Fear: Losing someone close. Sen once lost a dear friend and since then has tried to keep people at a certain distance.
Personality: A melancholy girl, Sen prefers a solitary existence, and has trouble putting roots down so she travels constantly. She doesn‘t make friends easily as she is prone to outbursts of annoyance when pushed to open up. At times she can be downright cynical and sarcastic. Despite her resolve to live a lonely existence she can’t help but side with the underdog and lend a helping hand though she still tries to keep people at arm’s length. Sometimes Sen gets a little big-headed and forgets that she is still in the learning process. When it comes to her work in bettering herself as a sorceress she is diligent, though not always focused, hence her nickname of “Dreamer.” When things do not go as she expects she may become flustered and snappish.
Mental Flaws: Bottling up emotions until they finally explode into something of a tantrum. Sometimes automatically making assumptions of people she‘s just met or treating people with veiled contempt. Sometimes become a little swelled headed about her magic and forgets she‘s still a learner.
Mental Skills: Good at calling forth a quick spell on instinct rather than wasting precious moments picking and choosing. A fast reader while still able to maintain information. Some knowledge of ancient languages.
Family and History
Mother:Chuska Jasaksdaughter
Father:Bercik Aspenson
Siblings:4, Sen is the middle child. Two older brothers, one younger sister, and youngest brother.
Other:Grandmother Jasakswife “Nani“
History: As a child Sen had a habit of breaking things accidentally when angered or flustered. Her family thought she was accident prone but when Nani came to live with them after the death of their grandfather, she saw right off that Sen had an affability to magic, for Nani was a sorceress herself of the healing variety. She took Sen under her strict wing and tried to focus Sen‘s magic on healing, thinking that was proper for a young girl to learn, but Sen, a much more headstrong and opinionated child at the time, finally struck out and ran away from home to a friend‘s house at the village, declaring she would not return until Nani stopped trying to “put her in a jar“ as the Alicantian saying goes, and that she would blowup the house if she was forced to try another healing spell, for things generally went “boom” in a small way when she tried it Nani‘s way.
Eventually Sen was convinced to return home and Nani didn‘t try to make her learn anymore, but she wasn‘t exactly silent on the subject. Fortunately for Sen an opportunity to learn from a Student of Destruction came when a young traveling sorcerer visited the village. This man not only knew great destruction, but also how to reverse his spells to rebuild. Fascinated, Sen begged to be taught by him, she was only 15 at the time but the young man agreed to stay in the village and teach her, putting his travels off for a time. Sen learned much from the young man and the two grew very attached to one another. Two years past before the young man got an itch to travel again, but he still wanted to train Sen and she still wanted to learn. With her parents permission, even though she was now considered an adult, the two left to see the world and learn together.
It was a tough but fulfilling life for Sen, and at times frightening. But her time with her teacher was brought to a sudden cut off when he volunteered to go on a mission to the land of the Immortals beyond the sea, in search of the Horn of Victory.
Sen begged to be allowed to accompany him but he could foresee this was an adventure she was not ready to take, for Sen was still a learner and also weak of body, not to mention that no one had yet returned from the land of the Immortals. The teacher simple would not risk Sen’s life on such a venture.
One early morning found Sen on the docks of an Arrowpact port, watching her teacher set sail with a group of other experienced adventurers. The ship never returned. Since then Sen has traversed the world, searching to grow stronger in her magic and rival her teacher’s reconstruction abilities, but for now she still must master destruction. Feeling a certain betrayal from her teacher, Sen has never allowed herself to get close to anyone ever again, fearing that they too may one day leave her.

He should have been back by now. Sen had endured this country’s stuffy ways, even adopting the women’s long dresses so as to alleviate the awkwardness and even hostility some felt towards her more traditional garb. Knocking down perverts who mistook her for a tart was only amusing the first time. All for the sake of awaiting his return so that she could see him as soon as possible. If he returned at all.
Sen tripped again on her long green dress as she marched through a library, looking up books on the school of destruction and any texts that might deal with the origins of destruction, or ancient figures of note.
“Look,” she said sourly to the assistant librarian who kept offering her romances of the sweet syrupy kind and not at all the epic ones, or other schools of magic that he thought would suit her better, “I am a student of destruction, curse you!” she spoke louder than necessary considering the building she was in, and more coarsely than she had been taught by her family and teacher, “If you don’t direct me to what I very nicely asked for at the beginning, I will lose control of my temper and I will, so help me Thren I will break this building into to pieces, books and all!”
She huffed a few times to catch her breath and control her rising temper, “Do I make myself clear, or am I going to have to make good on my threat?” She asked more calmly.
There was an awkward pause as the Assistant took in this information. Sen presumed it was to mull over whether there was some other syrup and cream romance he could try to placate her with, or if it would in fact be better to listen to her.
“I-I think I have what you want, r-right this way.” He said, clearly a little shaken as he set off for a different area of the library then they had previously been wandering about.
“You had better, or after the dust settles I’ll speak to your superior about having you demoted! “The Tragedy of Elenoria and The Knight of the Black Roses” indeed!” she huffed.
