RULES AND REGULATIONS
Welcome to Land of the Immortals! To keep our site enjoyable to the entire community, the Dream Team has some guidelines that we wish to address. We ask that you become familiar with these rules or keep them in mind so we may avoid conflict. We are here for you, but as a member of our site, we ask only a few things. We will do our best to keep an unbiased decision when it comes to punishing those that do not abide our rules; read on! The rules may be edited at any time, but an announcement will be made whenever they are modified.

Land of the Immortals works off a warning system. Only the Dream Team and the warned member can see the amount of warning a person has.
Each player is allowed to have up to 4 warnings; a 5th warning will result in a permanent ban or temporary suspension, depending on the severity of the situation. When you receive a warning, you will be private messaged with the details of punishment for your actions. If you do not receive another warning 3 months after you have first received one, you may have on warning taken away. This continues every 3 months of no warnings until you have none left.

RESPECT Respect is key. Respect your fellow members - remember the golden rule. Any inappropriate manners (through private messages and threads) will not be tolerated. If someone is harassing you, PM a staff member. Otherwise, keep it off of the board.

REGISTERING AN ACCOUNT / CHARACTERS You are free to register your account with any name you so desire (with the exception of anything profane, of course). However, you must change your display name to your characters. This mean you can only have one character
per account

MATURITY RESTRICTIONS Land of the Immortals is loosely considered at a PG13 rating. Sexual content (anything that goes beyond kissing etc) is banned from the Proboards ToS and therefor banned from Land of the Immortals. Swearing is okay, if used sensibly. Racism, sexism etc is okay IN CHARACTER! We do not wish to limit the creativity of our members and believe that they are capable of keeping things tasteful.

IN-CHARACTER

POWERPLAYING Powerplaying / Godmoding is not acceptable. You can only control other player's characters if they consent or give you permission to do so. It is always better to ask than assume!

TIME ERA Land of the Immortals is set in a medieval fantasy setting.. No computers, no cars, no guns, etc. If you ever have a question, feel free to ask the Dream Team.

POSTING Spelling and grammar make a roleplay enjoyable if corrections are made. Although there is no specific word count, we ask that you put some effort into your writing


ADVERTISING You may only advertise other roleplaying boards in the advertisement forum. You may not link other forums in your signature as well.
